The latest edition of Insight Media’s Projects Magazine is currently in production and will be published in April, when it will be distributed at EFFRA’s Manufacturing Partnership Day in Brussels as well as digitally to a highly-targeted audience
This special edition focuses on EU efforts to transform European manufacturing industries by improving their efficiency and competitiveness through digitisation and AI and the power of data.
The publication will provide a platform for the dissemination of research developments in this sector by leading EU funded projects, including FLASH-COMP, OPTIMAI, Fluently, ENGINE, OpenZDM, HyperCOG and many more. Each will be providing insight and analysis of their individual approaches to developing digital solutions for industry 4.0 and 5.0, including digital twins, decision support systems, defect monitoring, human-machine interfaces, training and other innovations in terms of cyber-physical systems.
This material will be supported by valuable commentary from key players in this sector on how we best achieve a sustainable, profitable and efficient industrial future. Leading figures from industry, research and policy all contribute with insight into novel digital technologies driving industrial digitisation, and the importance of a human-centric approach to development while we also hear from EFFRA about its efforts to coordinate these efforts.
By highlighting technical and technological advances alongside a focus on policy, investment and collaboration, this edition of Projects Magazine will provide valuable insight into where we are now, what we can achieve and, importantly, how we can ensure we are able to deliver on the potential of industry 4.0.
The publication will be a valuable repository of information and knowledge about the direction Europe needs to take to lead the world towards zero-defect manufacturing.
