The FLASH-COMP Industry Event will bring manufacturers, technology specialists and researchers together at Azimut’s production facility in Avigliana, near Turin, on 24th September 2026 – and there is still time to sign up to attend in person or you can join the morning programme online, free of charge.
The event will take FLASH-COMP beyond the laboratory, showing how its technologies have been tested and validated in demanding industrial environments.

In-person delegates will have an exclusive opportunity to tour Azimut’s advanced composite manufacturing facility and see the production environment in which FLASH-COMP has been trialled.
The programme will demonstrate how FLASH-COMP supports the liquid resin infusion process before, during and after infusion. Delegates will see footage and results from industrial validation trials, operator-facing dashboards and decision-support tools, and examples of how real-time process information can support better production decisions.
This is an opportunity to understand not only what the technology does, but how it can fit into a working manufacturing environment.

Partners from across the FLASH-COMP consortium will share the project’s journey from initial research to industrial validation.

The event will also feature insights from the TURBO project, providing a complementary perspective on Zero Defect Manufacturing, advanced process monitoring and zero-waste composite production.
An industry roundtable will examine how Zero Defect Manufacturing can contribute to European productivity, resilience and competitiveness. Speakers from Azimut, MSI, Synthesites, COMAU and EFFRA will discuss why promising technologies sometimes struggle to move beyond pilot projects and what manufacturers need to adopt them successfully.
