We developed a new website for our latest Horizon Europe project FLASH-COMP, a project focused on implementing digital technologies and AI into manufacturing processes, using liquid resin infusion (LRI) as a test case.
The project seeks to demonstrate how this digital technology will help identify and remove defects during composite manufacturing processes. It is expected that a zero-defect manufacturing approach like this can reduce waste by more than 30% and so help Europe’s move towards climate neutrality
We wanted to showcase this complex development work in a straight-forward manner, providing an attractive and engaging overview of what the project is aiming to achieve, how it intends to do that and the benefits to industry and society this will all lead to.
As the project continues and its results emerge, the website will expand to provide more detailed information, including how other manufacturing industries can get involved and how they can benefit from FLASH-COMP’s digital innovation.
The development of the website ran in parallel with our development of a full branding strategy for FLASH-COMP, including a new logo, branding materials, colour palette and key messages. As project partner leading all communication and dissemination activity, this work kicked off three years of ongoing activity that will help FLASH-COMP achieve its aims.
