At Insight Media, we are committed to expanding our operations and influence within the bio-based industries sector and the broader manufacturing ecosystem in Europe. As part of this strategy, we have intensified our networking efforts and joined key industry associations that align with our growth objectives.
We are excited to announce, therefore, that Insight Media has recently become a full industry member of the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC). Established in Brussels in 2013, BIC is a non-profit organisation representing the private sector in a vital Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the European Commission. This partnership focuses on strengthening the bio-based industries sector across Europe, covering a diverse range of sectors including agriculture, marine, chemicals, forestry, and technology providers.
By joining BIC, we gain access to a vast network of more than 240 industry members, including large corporations, SMEs, and regional clusters. This membership offers us the opportunity to collaborate on ground-breaking research, development, and demonstration projects within the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU). Moreover, being part of this consortium allows us to work closely with other industry leaders to drive the adoption of bio-based materials and solutions, thereby contributing to the advancement of the bioeconomy in Europe.
In addition to our membership in BIC, Insight Media is gearing up for active participation in the forthcoming European Manufacturing Conference 2024 in Brussels this month. This biennial event is a crucial gathering of key players in the European manufacturing industry, including policymakers, industry representatives, researchers, and innovators.
The conference, organised by EFFRA, EIT Manufacturing, and ManuFuture, provides a unique platform to discuss and shape the future of Europe’s industrial landscape. The 2024 conference will focus on pressing issues such as geopolitical shifts, net-zero emissions, cross-border collaborations, and the integration of emerging technologies like AI, digital twins, and cyber-physical systems.
Our participation in this event will allow us to engage with industry leaders and researchers, exchange insights on the latest technological advancements, and explore new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
As we continue to expand our operations, these strategic engagements with industry associations and participation in high-profile events are essential to our mission. They not only provide us with valuable insights and connections but also position Insight Media as a proactive contributor to the future of sustainable innovation and manufacturing in Europe. We look forward to leveraging these opportunities to drive our growth and make a lasting impact on the industries we serve.
