Insight Media and AAL continue their long-term partnership

Insight Media is delighted to be working with AAL again, after being awarded a new communications contract that extends our relationship for a further three years.

Insight Media has been awarded a new communications contract with the AAL Programme and is coordinating all digital communications as the organisation enters the final phase of its funding. The new contract continues a long-term relationship between IMG and AAL, which began in 2011, when we covered their annual Forum in Lecce, Italy.

This was the start of a long and fruitful relationship with the European programme that funds the innovation that helps keep us all connected, healthy, active and happy long into our old age. Over this time, IMG has worked closely with the senior management board on a many AAL projects, including the relaunch of the website, developing their social media strategy, producing several print and online publications, developing event films, establishing legacy materials and helping them to shape the new EU active ageing strategy for Horizon Europe.

IMG has also covered every AAL Forum and all European Weeks of Active Ageing since 2011, and its dedicated staff have become familiar faces amongst the AAL community, interviewing many over the years and helping to promote their important work.

“We are thrilled to be continuing our long-term relationship with AAL,” says IMG Managing Director William Davis. “Although the AAL team has been slimmed down and the programme will not be funding any more new projects, there is still a great deal of important information to communicate, with many projects still ongoing and the important legacy of 14 years’ work to be maximised.

“I hope that by being part of the AAL team over the next three years, we can stay in touch with the passionate AAL community as they continue with their vital work in developing the technology and services that will help us all live more active and happy lives longer into our old age.”
